Author, endurance athlete, and U.S. Army veteran, Lynn M. Griesemer has written 12 books on marriage, childbirth, public speaking, and other topics. Lynn lives in Tampa, FL with her husband Bob, and has six adult children and five grandchildren. She is an advocate for lifelong happy marriage and husband and wife unassisted homebirth. Married to Bob since 1985, Lynn says, “What we need is endurance: endurance in our marriage, endurance in parenting, endurance during suffering and hardships.”

   She is a long-distance swimmer and was the first person to swim 12.7 miles around St. Pete Beach. In 2025, at the age of 62, Lynn and her tandem swim partner Ken Morgan were the Oldest Male-Female Tandem Swim Team to complete 20 Bridges, a 28.5 circumnavigation around Manhattan Island. “Swimming Around Manhattan: Find Your Passion ~ Make it Happen” will be released in April 2026.
